Don't microwaves only run at half the power because they use a half wave rectifier? Would be neat to try and get the full power unless that transformer is running too close to saturation, and not to mention how easy it is to melt them just by applying a few extra input volts LOL

My 30 year old microwave has that spinning fan thing but I haven't seen that on any newer machines
