In Italy, 10mA differentials should usually be used for bathrooms, and separate lines should be made for sockets and lights, but most of the time, to save money, they put a single 30mA differential that covers the entire house / apartment; the idea is "better to have a minimum of protection than none"

So I'm an electrician from Australia, and that board or "breaker box", is pretty much the exact same as what we have here. The breakers are RCBOs, or residual current circuit breaker with overcurrent protection, which pretty much do everything you need. Those connectors are called BP connectors usually, and are our main source of connecting wires. EDIT: Also, between 220v and 250v are fairly common
