Funny thing is, he said "you need to change both the pads on the front or the back" and he forgotten to change the other side which is ironic
This man is a genius!!
I've done the brakes on my car and my sister's car (similar model) and also my mom's car.
And I MUST SAY, the speed with which he just slapped those front pads in was ridiculous.
I'd love to work on cars that have that sort of build. It's been a headache every damn time for me! Everything is so congested, it's crazy. I don't know how they build these things in the first place.
Also he is totally correct about needing to press the brake several times, I had replaced them and FLEW down the hill afterwards, I eventually pressed the brake enough and the car slowed down. Pretty scary and quite funny in retrospect.
I assume those mistakes were deliberate to show what can happen if you aren't careful. Even so, I wouldn't have hit the jack and let my car fall down; you can damage the vehicle and even worse, severly injure yourself if some part of your body gets crushed between the ground and the vehicle. I always place the tire under the frame of the car so it can't fall all the way down.
