I'm inspired by this content. A similar book I read served as a transformational guide. "A Life Unplugged: Reclaiming Reality in a Digital Age" by Theodore Blaze

There's a short story about a guy who finds an Airwick but the more he pulls the wick out the more the sound around him got quieter. He slowly uses it more and more until he is in silence most of the day so much so he even started playing the drums. Eventually lots of things go bad for him due to this EarWick. It's in a book called Laughing Space an anthology of scifi short stories put together by Isaac Asimov (I, Robot, The Bicentennial Man, the Foundation book series.)
Even if it did work as advertised, it still wouldn't work because it would silence your own conversation

I think maybe the principle of the scam product may be that if you place it on the inner side of your window all the noise comming from the streets would be reflecting off your window. The silence bubble is bs of course but maybe they had a point (?)
